2008 Summer Camps News

You are invited to be part of the vision for our future at Gilmont.  Our prayer is that we serve more with increased meeting space and lodging as well as renovations to existing buildings. We look  forward with excitement to a time when we can meet the needs of larger groups up to 250, and several programming areas where we can serve more than one group concurrently.

Building For The Future

Senior Adult Retreat, October 2-4, 2008.  Help us spread the word.  Don't miss the fun, sharing and   fellowship.  Participants will enjoy basket weaving, painting, carving, and nature walks.  Special themed workshops will  include:  capturing your stories, journaling your faith and recording history.  Service projects at the camp will include:  landscaping with adapted roses.  Musical fun will  include:  bell ringing, line dancing and a retreat choir.  Building ministries in your home church will include:  setting up a prayer shawl group, making beaded key chain crosses, and learning how to serve the homeless.

The key to the success is our Advisory Group, made up of    members from area churches who seek out talented and gracious individuals in our community to share with us.  Thank you all!
